How it all Began and where it's going.

Dahlia had always been an energetic, life affirming, light in the world. Encouraging and motivating people is what came naturally to her.

She set off travelling the world straight out of university for what was menat to be 6 months but became a 10 year journey.

She found Yoga 5 years into her travels.

Before that  Dahlia lived for adrenaline rushes, always living in the moment and being a super spontaneous person, but she found a sense of calm in her yoga practice that gave her a grounding she didn't even realise she desired before that, she new in this early stage of her practice she would like to share this gift with the world.

She began feeling a satisfaction from within that needed no crazy fast paced living to achieve.

She delved deeper into the practice and then in 2020 took her first teacher training course. It was mid-pandemic and she began an online members program to bring yoga to people in their homes in the height of the crisis. Many people already resonated with Dahlia's vibrant love for life and it was a huge success and so Soul Shifters Yoga began.

When regular business resumed Dahlia was living in montenegro and europe's first ever One and Only hotel had just opened in Montenegro, they had seen Dahlias work online and in the community  there and asked her to join them as a resident yoga teacher.

Dahlia loved working in the beautiful 5 star environment but she longed to explore the world with yoga and study more to gain a deeper understanding of the practice.

The longing led her to Costa Rica where she studied Yin yoga on the caribbean coast, she then began teaching in Costa Rica, but the ever longing need to explore and learn more persisted.

Dahlia made her way to Rishikesh, India, Home of yoga to practise the most authentic origins of Yoga, this was a huge turning point in Dahlias connection to the practice, she no longer felt she wanted to spontaneously wander the earth, but she wanted to get grounded in a place that needed yoga the most, London.

One of Dahlia's missions is to work with high impact businesses and people to help incorporate the age-old meditative practices of yoga with the highly driven, highly strung city.

After all it's easy to feel Zen from a blissful beach or secluded mountain, but to bring a sense of calm to the stressed out city people is essential and needed in our ever growing metropolis of civilisation.
