The Key to Infinite Opportunities and Creativity
Good news! They already live within you. You just need to unlock the side of your brain that possesses them. The key is to learn how to be still, breathe, and clear the space for those ideas to come through. Only then will you access the universal truth, which I like to define as the ability to align with your true intentions and live free from the expectations that society constantly tries to impose on us, in order to imprison our attention.
It's crazy how we've erased from our self-imposed busy schedules and to-do activities a moment to give our brain a rest and switch off. Trust me, I also sometimes fall into this pattern. But fortunately, my awareness brings me back to those "Moments of Nothing", because from them I've been able to listen to myself and activate from within the changes in my mentality or behavior that I long for. Easier said than done, especially when people are not willing to stay still, because it's uncomfortable. But in order to grow, we all need to get to that place of discomfort.
When we are younger, we feel all those growing pains, and it hurts. A similar process happens to butterflies or trees. There is a struggle, but this is how the greatest changes in life come about. Vulnerability softens the discomfort, but we need to slow down, sit with it, and embrace it. Just think about how oil is made: the organic materials were compressed, pushed into the ground, and held back for millions of years doing nothing. And now we use that natural resource for almost everything! You can embrace the discomfort that comes with change by practicing yoga. Now, if you think yoga is slow, think again, because there are plenty of variations that you, my friend, haven't discovered yet. This just shows that your brain is choosing to stay with a tiny piece of information to focus on, instead of the real yoga offering. You’re probably just avoiding the vulnerability of opening up. This is yoga's gift: sitting quietly on your own mat and focusing on one movement at a time while shifting your energy. When we practice yoga, we go through all sorts of shapes, which helps us to have an understanding of ourselves, observe, and meditate on them. We reconnect with the feeling in our big toes and the job they do in balancing our body! We realize that life is breathing, and that if we get upset or angry, what changes our reactions is the way we inhale and exhale! We give our minds a break from the effort of thinking. Don't turn into a "yogi" if the title bothers you. Turn into an aligned human capable of accessing your universal truth in order to share your own natural resources.
Turn into a human capable of observing your breath, and connecting to your own body and emotions. Turn into a human who gives your brain a rest and focuses on just existing for 60 minutes. Your mind will be a lovely place to inhabit and the colors will shine brighter.
